Responsibilities
We are seeking an exceptionally talented senior engineer to join our team, which provides essential storage and service technologies that underpin quantitative research.
Participate in architecture and design as well as design and code reviews.
Contribute to the development, testing, and deployment of strategic projects.
Addressing scalability and reliability will pose key challenges and spark insightful discussions on distributed systems.
Collaborate in a horizontal team with high impact and exposure to many others within the company.
Work with technologies such as Kafka, PostgreSQL, Spark, BigQuery, and GitLab with integrated CI/CD.
Requirements
Holds a Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or related majors.
Has 5+ years of hands-on experience in using Python for distributed systems.
Strong ability in writing high-quality, well-tested, efficient, and minimalist code with Python.
Strong interest in Distributed Systems, backed by broad technical exposure and a demonstrated capacity for deep learning of new tools.
Demonstrates professionalism, teamwork, proactive builder, and self-starter with clear English communication skills.
Experience with data warehousing, graph databases, and additional programming skills in Java or C++ is preferred.
