Responsibilities
Direct the evolution of conversational systems, retrieval technologies, and voice-interactive features, ensuring they integrate smoothly across a large consumer platform.
Partner with ML, data, infrastructure, and backend teams to outline scalable architectures for model orchestration, retrieval pipelines, voice components, and interaction logic.
Define quality benchmarks related to system latency, recognition accuracy, ranking performance, safety controls, and output consistency.
Maintain product roadmaps, prioritize workstreams, manage sprint cycles, validate releases, and supervise testing processes for all AI-focused domains.
Shape the long-term vision for user experiences built on large-model reasoning, multimodal search capabilities, personalized ranking, and adaptive recommendations.
Own requirements and behavioral guidelines for intelligent assistants, including dialog flows, task execution, contextual memory functions, and voice-enabled interactions.
Oversee search experience refinement through metrics design, relevance evaluation, experimentation workflows, and continuous optimization of query understanding.
Coordinate with hardware and firmware teams to launch voice-driven features across connected devices, ensuring high-quality recognition, synthesis, and wake-word performance.
Translate complex functional needs into clear product directions, user journeys, and technical specifications aligned with business goals.
Lead cross-department communication with product, platform, cloud, data, UX, and partner business units to ensure alignment and predictable delivery.
Track production indicators such as precision/recall, crash patterns, error rates, and performance signals across all AI components in real-world environments.
Serve as the product owner for intelligent-experience initiatives, mentoring PMs and presenting roadmap updates, KPIs, and progress to senior leadership.
Requirements
Senior-level experience in product work related to AI or software platforms, including several years guiding teams or overseeing sophisticated intelligent-system initiatives.
Strong familiarity with large-scale model techniques, multi-layer information retrieval methods, vector-based indexing approaches, natural language interaction design, as well as speech-oriented technologies such as recognition, synthesis, and conversational understanding.
Proven history of steering AI-driven products from early exploration into stable, high-usage deployment environments.
Ability to turn complex technical or business inputs into structured product plans that can be executed and evaluated effectively.
Excellent capability in team leadership, cross-functional coordination, communication, and managing stakeholders across multiple levels.
Confident command of English in both technical discussions and executive-facing situations.
Hands-on involvement in building assistant-like capabilities or products powered by advanced language models for ecosystems offering multiple services.
Practical understanding of machine-learning development processes, cloud-based infrastructures, model operations workflows, vector retrieval systems, or relevance-ranking mechanisms.
Knowledge of reinforcement-based learning methods, multi-agent system concepts, or multimodal artificial intelligence.
Professional certifications related to AI, machine learning, or product leadership are beneficial.
