Develop product knowledge to understand key requirements, and features, and keep up with the latest development in the products

Analyze products requirements from prospects/customers of the company via TPOs, and improvements and enhancements from the internal review

Study and construct use cases and workflow related to product/feature requirements

Design and document test procedures, plans, scenarios, cases, and scripts, based on the requirements and technical specifications

Own, execute, and manage the testing activities of product releases throughout the development lifecycle, covering functional tests, scenario tests, and end-to-end tests

Assign testing activities to fellow software testers and coordinate/track their testing progress and testing results (junior QA resources)

Ensure testing of each product release meets the products’ requirements, completes on time, and adheres to the test plans and QA standards defined by the company

Detect software bugs, issues, and failures, and maintain the defects in the Bug Reporting and Tracking System for follow-up fixes, retest

Track outstanding defects and liaise with respective owners to fix them for the retest

Conduct periodic reviews and generate a historic analysis of the test results to highlight repeating or systemic defects for follow-up

Take an active role in defining, developing, and implementing the automated testing platform

Champion best working practices in testing and identify areas for continuous improvement

Mentor junior team members on product test cases, test execution, and test automation
