Responsibilities
We are looking for a dynamic candidate who has a good understanding of FMCG (Fast Moving Consumer Goods) / CPG (Consumer Packaged Goods) Sales, Marketing & Distribution, and has developed business in the SEA Region.
Lead the sales planning, development, and achievement of sales targets.
Developing and implementing sales strategies for accelerating growth with sustained profitability in line with the annual business plan (ABP).
Identify and appoint distributors in new markets.
Overlooking the work of distributors and/or other relevant agencies.
To identify and develop new products or positioning opportunities.
Exploring and developing new business opportunities across multiple trade channels such as General Trade, Modern Trade: big box retailers, discount stores, pharmacies, HORECA, and other such channels.
Create, maintain & expand distributor relationships.
Work closely with the directors, supply chain team & distributor teams to create processes between the company and the distributors that are simple, robust, and efficient in facilitating the unrestricted flow of necessary information on ordering, shipments, and sales.
Work closely with the distributor team to achieve monthly sales targets by geography, brand, and pack (or any other relevant metric).
Analyse sales and stock availability in each region/territory and monitor secondary and tertiary sales on a weekly/fortnightly basis. Motivate, direct, and coach the sales team to ensure adequate coverage, improved distribution depth, and good product visibility.
Manage the coordination with the factories forthe timely production and dispatch of goods.
Work with the design & marketing team to conceptualize, plan, and implement brand promotions, along with necessary marketing collaterals.
Ensuring perfect execution of the planned BTL (below the line) and merchandising activities.
Will be important to understand the INCO terms and port logistics operations from the port of import.
Requirements
Good overall understanding and executional experience of sales and distribution in the SEA Region (Must have sales and distribution experience in Vietnam. Experience in Cambodia and Laos will be an added advantage).
Relevant experience in the FMCG industry. That means, to have worked for a branded retail-driven FMCG company. Not private label.
Aside from Sales and Distribution, the person will also oversee the execution of all trade schemes and marketing initiatives across the various countries of Vietnam.
Should have a proven track record & deep experience in building businesses in Vietnam.

Salary range: Up to USD 3,500 gross
