Responsibilities

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly analytical Research Specialist to support our digital marketing campaigns with in-depth research and actionable insights. The ideal candidate will work closely with our SEO, PPC, content, and social media teams to provide data-driven recommendations for campaign success. This role is critical in identifying opportunities, understanding target audiences, and ensuring campaigns are grounded in solid research and competitive intelligence.

  • Conduct comprehensive keyword research for SEO and PPC campaigns, identifying high-value opportunities for ranking and conversions.

  • Develop audience personas, including demographics, psychographics, behaviors, and preferences, to guide targeting strategies.

  • Research and propose digital channels that align with audience personas and campaign goals.

  • Identify potential touchpoints along the audience’s journey on various digital platforms.

  • Analyse competitors’ strategies, strengths, weaknesses, and gaps to uncover opportunities for differentiation.

  • Evaluate the marketplace, including market share, net addressable market, and emerging trends, to inform strategic decisions.

  • Assess and refine clients’ branding and positioning to ensure campaigns align with their unique value propositions.

  • Identify online properties such as directories, websites, social media platforms, and forums for link building, citations, mentions, and press releases.

  • Track industry trends and propose trend-jacking opportunities to maximize campaign relevance and engagement.

  • Generate reports and recommendations to optimize digital marketing campaigns based on research findings.

  • Collaborate with campaign managers to integrate research insights into actionable strategies for SEO, PPC, social media, and content marketing.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in market research, digital marketing, or a similar role, with a strong understanding of SEO, PPC, and audience targeting.

  • Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to extract insights from data.

  • Proficiency in tools such as Google Keyword Planner, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Google Analytics, and other research platforms.

  • Strong understanding of digital marketing channels and how they interact with target audiences.

  • Knowledge of branding, positioning, and how they influence marketing strategies.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present findings in a clear, actionable format.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver high-quality work within deadlines.

  • A proactive approach to identifying opportunities and trends that can benefit campaigns.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.

  • Experience in a digital marketing agency or fast-paced marketing environment.

  • Familiarity with CRM systems and tools used for audience segmentation and tracking.

  • Knowledge of social listening tools and trend analysis platforms.

Salary range: Up to USD 1,500 Net
