Responsibilities
We are looking for a highly experienced .NET Developer to join our team. The successful candidate will work on modern and legacy systems with a strong emphasis on integration (EDI), API development, and service maintenance.
Develop and maintain .NET Core (5.0 or above) Web APIs (Client/Host).
Create and support Windows Services for background processing tasks.
Implement and maintain API documentation using Swagger.
Support and enhance legacy systems built on .NET Framework 4.8 (including WCF and ASP.NET) for EDI operations.
Handle various EDI mappings and formats such as JSON, XML, EDIFACT, X12, and CSV.
Manage data transfers using protocols like FTP, SFTP, FTPS, HTTPS, AS2, and OFTP.
Use MapForce or similar tools for 3rd-party data mapping and transformation.
Collaborate with team members using Azure DevOps or GitHub for version control.
Communicate effectively in English (verbal and written) with stakeholders and team members.
Requirements
Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with .NET development.
Proficiency in .NET Core (5.0+) and Web API development.
Experience building and managing Windows Services.
Strong knowledge of Swagger for API documentation.
Experience with .NET Framework 4.8, especially WCF and ASP.NET.
In-depth understanding of EDI formats (EDIFACT, X12, etc.) and transfer protocols.
Hands-on experience with MapForce or similar mapping tools.
Familiarity with Azure DevOps and/or GitHub.
Excellent English communication skills.
Strong team building, conflict resolution, and performance evaluation skills.
Strong issue-resolution skills: Ability to identify and address challenges promptly and effectively.
Ability to code review and mentor junior/mid developers.
