We are seeking a QA Automation Engineer to ensure the quality, stability, and reliability of our EV charging platform. This role will focus on both manual testing and building automation frameworks to support continuous testing across our mobile applications, backend services, and system integrations.

You will work closely with backend developers, mobile developers, and product teams to implement automated testing pipelines that help ensure high-quality releases and improve development efficiency.

Test Planning & Strategy:

• Design and maintain test strategies, test plans, and detailed test cases

• Define quality assurance processes for new features and system releases

• Ensure adequate testing coverage across backend APIs, mobile applications, and platform integrations

Automation Testing:

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks

• Build automation for:

  • API testing

  • Mobile application testing

  • End-to-end workflow testing

• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines

Manual Testing:

• Perform manual testing for new features and complex scenarios

• Conduct exploratory testing to identify potential usability or functional issues

• Validate system workflows, including:

  • User account creation

  • Charging session start/stop

  • Charger communication

  • Payment processing

API Testing:

• Test backend APIs using tools such as Postman or similar platforms

• Validate API responses, authentication, and error handling

• Ensure proper communication between backend services and mobile applications

Bug Tracking & Defect Management:

• Identify, reproduce, and document software defects

• Log and track issues using bug tracking systems such as JIRA

• Work closely with developers to troubleshoot and resolve issues

Regression & Release Validation:

• Execute regression testing before production releases

• Verify fixes and ensure new updates do not introduce regressions

• Support release validation and system stability testing

Continuous Quality Improvement:

• Improve testing processes and frameworks

• Recommend testing tools and automation improvements

• Contribute to building a quality-first engineering culture
