Responsibilities
Systems Administration: Manage and maintain Windows-based server environments and cloud-based services (e.g., Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365).
Network Management: Collaborate on configuration changes, monitor performance, and troubleshoot connectivity issues.
Hardware & Software Support: Oversee hardware and software deployments, order equipment, and coordinate setups across multiple office locations.
Security & Compliance: Monitor cybersecurity measures and ensure system security best practices are followed.
Vendor Management: Liaise with external software vendors to negotiate contracts, coordinate upgrades, and optimise costs.
Incident Resolution: Provide second-level technical support, resolve IT service desk issues, and maintain or exceed service-level agreements.
Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for process and system enhancement, conduct audits, and recommend improvements for resilience, performance, and cost-effectiveness.
Requirements
Experience: Minimum 3+ years’ experience in a similar IT Systems or System Engineering role.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Windows Server, Microsoft 365, and virtualization. Familiarity with network configuration and monitoring tools, cybersecurity tools, and IT service management platforms.
Qualifications: Tertiary qualification in IT, Computer Science, or related discipline preferred. Relevant industry certifications (e.g., Microsoft, Cisco) will be highly regarded.
Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to handle complex technical issues under time-sensitive conditions.
Collaboration: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
Adaptability: A proactive and flexible approach to work, especially in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple projects and priorities.
Communication: Fluent in English and can conduct training over virtual meetings.
