Responsibilities
We are looking for a Solution Delivery Architect to join an Australian IT consulting company serving global enterprise clients.
You will own the solution journey from initial client discovery to proposal and delivery handover. Your role is to understand complex business and technology challenges, shape the right solution, and independently build compelling proposals that give clients confidence to move forward with us.
You will work closely with a Pre-sales Engineer to validate technical feasibility, while you own the overall solution, client communication, and proposal.
Lead discovery sessions with global enterprise clients to understand their business challenges, requirements, existing systems, and transformation goals.
Shape end-to-end solutions for software development, digital transformation, application modernization, cloud migration, system integration, and related technology initiatives.
Work with Pre-sales Engineers to evaluate technical feasibility, architecture options, risks, and trade-offs.
Independently create complete client proposals covering solution approach, options and trade-offs, high-level architecture, delivery roadmap, timeline, risks, and UI/UX concepts where relevant.
Use AI tools extensively to accelerate research, solution design, analysis, documentation, presentations, diagrams, and rapid prototyping.
Present and defend solutions to business and technology stakeholders, turning complex technical concepts into clear and persuasive recommendations.
Ensure a clear transition of the agreed solution, scope, and client expectations to the delivery team.
Typical projects:
You will work on large-scale, complex technology initiatives for global enterprise clients, including:
Enterprise digital transformation and large-scale software modernization programs.
Legacy system migration and re-architecture of business-critical platforms.
Cloud migration and cloud-native modernization for complex enterprise environments.
Design and development of scalable enterprise applications and digital platforms.
Complex system integration across multiple platforms, APIs, data sources, and third-party systems.
Modernization of high-volume, high-availability systems with demanding performance, security, and scalability requirements.
Projects typically involve complex architectures, multiple systems and stakeholders, significant technical dependencies, and long-term business impact.
Requirements
12 - 20 years of experience in the software development industry.
Strong background in Software Development, Software Architecture, Solution Architecture, or similar technical roles.
5 - 10 years of experience in technology consulting, solution consulting, pre-sales, or enterprise client-facing environments.
Exceptional spoken and written English with strong presentation and stakeholder management skills.
Strong understanding of modern software architecture and software delivery.
Ability to independently turn ambiguous business problems into structured, practical technology solutions.
Advanced practical use of AI tools to produce high-quality professional deliverables quickly and independently.
Highly autonomous, analytical, persuasive, and comfortable working directly with global enterprise clients.

Working environment:
Work directly with global enterprise clients and report to the Australia-based CEO.
Fluent English is essential, with the confidence to independently lead client meetings, facilitate discussions, pitch solutions, and persuade senior stakeholders.
Operate in a highly autonomous environment where each team member owns their work end-to-end with minimal dependency on supporting roles.
Work in an AI-first model, using AI tools extensively to research, analyze, design, document, and deliver high-quality work independently.

Benefits

Salary range: USD 4,000 – 5,500 gross
