Responsibilities
We are looking for a highly experienced Development Manager to lead a team of talented engineers. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, extensive management experience, and the ability to lead distributed teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
Coordinate directly with Product, Developer, QA, and Executive teams.
Take ownership of project execution and ensure timely feature delivery.
Collaborate with team members to analyze, design, and estimate features based on specifications.
Participate in and lead necessary meetings.
Manage internal team processes such as recruitment, performance review, and training.
Perform code reviews and resolve technical issues related to team features.
Provide support for QA and production issues and delegate tasks as needed.
Requirements
Proven management experience leading teams of 6+ members.
6+ years of experience in engineering management roles.
Experience managing international, distributed teams.
Willingness and ability to work flexible hours across time zones.
Familiarity with Agile and other team collaboration frameworks.
Strong background in Java and related ecosystems.
In-depth experience with object-oriented software development.
Solid understanding of software design patterns and programming principles.
Proficiency with Spring Framework and Hibernate.
Hands-on experience with multi-threaded and network programming.
Experience in modern web programming.
Familiarity with modern APIs and SDKs.
Proficient in using Linux Bash and PowerShell.
Strong capability in system architecture analysis and design.
Experience with cloud computing and virtualization technologies.
Skilled in writing modular, clean, and well-tested code.
Ability to maintain and define coding standards.
Proficient with version control tools such as SVN and Git.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a relevant technical position.
English communication at upper-intermediate level or above.
*** Desired qualifications:
Experience with Microsoft 365 (M365) is a plus.
