Responsibilities
Designing, building, and deploying smart contracts to create high-performance, low latency
user-facing products for our portfolio companiesWriting clean, gas-optimized, and reusable smart contracts and protocol code in Solidity
Collaborating with product managers to innovate and develop user-facing features based on market trends and competitive analyses
Scoping complex features and working closely with designers and fellow engineers to execute implementation, testing, and deployment
Participating in code review and writing rigorous test suites to maintain code quality and ensure adherence to best practices

Requirements
Experience: 2+ years (Junior), 5+ years (Senior) in software engineering (demonstrable work on GitHub or otherwise)
Experience shipped a product to the main net using Solidity
Ability to ship code using test-driven development
Familiarity with version control systems such as Git
Awareness of engineering best practices for fintech products and DeFi protocols
Problem-solving skills, an analytical mindset, and good judgment
Good at English both in verbal and written communication skills
*** Nice to have:
A Bachelor’s or professional degree in the STEM field
Knowledge or expertise in Node.js, React/React Native, gas optimization, and basic knowledge of encryption and cryptography
Deep understanding of financial products in a web3 context
Knowledge of the software development lifecycle, including engineering, design, UI, UX, QA
