• Several years of experience (typically 5+ years) as a frontend developer, including proven experience in a senior role.

• Strong knowledge of Next.js (SSR, ISR, routing, middleware) and React (advanced patterns, hooks, state management).

• Experience in SEO optimization (metadata, structured data) and performance optimization (Core Web Vitals).

• Experience building component libraries or design systems for scalable frontends.

• Confident handling of REST APIs and modern data-fetching strategies, e.g. caching, ISR, streaming.

• Understanding of headless/PWA architectures in an e-commerce context.

• Personal competencies.

• High quality standards for code, performance, and user experience.

• Independent, structured way of working.

• Enjoys technical discussion and constructive feedback within the team.

• Motivated to help shape a frontend from scratch rather than maintain an existing one.

A big plus:

• Experience with multi-shop/multi-tenant frontends (theming, internationalization, locale/currency handling).

• Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG).

• Experience working closely with UI/UX teams, e.g. via Figma handoff.

• Experience with AI-assisted development tools (Claude Code, GitHub Copilot) in daily work.
