The Sales Manager is responsible for the development and the building up of her/his dedicated

market. His/Her technical and economic responsibility lays in the project business with a main focus

on Drainage and Supply systems (DSS).

  • Achieve defined Sales targets for the region and the dedicated market.

  • Prepare and conduct (technical) Sales presentations to Developers, consultants, architects, and contractors through training and seminars. Use presentations and seminars for the acquisition of new projects.

  • Perform a market assessment to understand market situation, trends, and customer changing requirements, and needs.

  • Building up a network with Developers, Architects, MEP consultants, and contractors. Liaise with the Head of Sales and Technical Sales Engineers for technical issues and ensure requirements are met.

  • Use of CRM to plan and document all project-related activities. Manage the project funel actively and build up new pipelines to meet the yearly targets and project hitrates.

  • Provide support for our distribution partners and ensure local stock availability. Plan and execute regular alignment meetings to grow the project funnel and secure projects within the defined discount structure.

  • Report to the Head of Engineering.


  • Engineering diploma or degree (Mechanical / Architect) or Economics and additional Technician/examination for the master's diploma.

  • Having a commercial flair, ability to understand, identify, and capitalize on commercial or business opportunities effectively.

  • High standards and motivation. Be ready to take responsibility and extra duties.

  • Ability to handle setbacks and resistance, stay calm and focused under pressure.

  • Adjusts quickly to new situations, and embraces changes as opportunities.

  • Comprehends the customer-specific situation, needs, and objectives.

  • Speaks the customer's language, uses customer-appropriate recommendations.

  • Experience in the piping industry or related to the building materials industry.

  • Expert MS Office (word, excel, powerpoint ect.) skills and ability to read technical drawings.

  • Strong presentation, problem-solving, and communication skills.

  • Fluent in English and local language.


Working location: District 4, HCM

Salary range: up to USD 2,200 Gross
