Responsibilities
The QA Leader will be responsible for leading the quality assurance efforts in software development projects, ensuring that all products and services meet the necessary quality standards. This position requires fluency in Japanese to effectively communicate with the product owners and development teams at the headquarters. Responsibilities:
Provide QA input throughout all stages of the software development life cycle (SDLC), including technical design reviews and development activities.
Develop, execute, and oversee test plans, ensuring comprehensive coverage of all requirements.
Maintain strong relationships with team members and stakeholders to promote open communication and collaboration.
Lead and manage the quality assurance team, ensuring project milestones are met and QA activities align with project standards.
Regularly interact with development staff to resolve issues, and barriers impacting software quality.
Participate in the development, documentation, and maintenance of departmental procedures and processes.
Requirements
Proficiency in Japanese for effective communication with the headquarters (JLPT N2 or above).
Experience in leading a QA team.
Strong knowledge of various testing types, including performance, system, and integration testing.
Familiarity with test planning, design methodologies, and Agile methodologies (e.g., SCRUM).
Proficiency in technical writing and excellent oral communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Experience with tools such as Rational RequisitePro, TestDirector/TestStand, and Quality Center.
Knowledge of U.S. federal government compliance standards and public sector requirements for QA processes.
Experience in a production environment or organizational culture that focuses on quality software within constraints. lecture, develop, review code, test, and launch new projects from zero.
Proper database design takes into account functional and non-functional requirements.
Write clean and maintainable code.
