Responsibilities
Build backend systems to handle the complex and fast-growing business
Participate in Agile/Scrum development methodology, implementing and code review with teams to build scalable serverless and/or microservices-based products
Work directly with Project Owner, Business Owner, Designer, Frontend, QA, PM, etc. teams
Stay up to date with new trends, recommend best practices in development, and share knowledge with teammates
Optimize the application for maximum speed and scalability
Implement security hardening and data protection
Requirements
3 - 5 years experience in back-end programming languages, Go or NodeJS
Solid knowledge of functional programming, data structures, algorithms, architectural patterns, and system design.
Experience in cloud computing platforms preferably Amazon Web Services (AWS) technologies. Azure or GCP is a plus.
Experience in Docker technologies and/or AWS Lambda will be a plus
Experience in Linux (Ubuntu LTS) as a backend server platform, eg. provisioning a new server, installing various open-source packages, etc.
Basic understanding of front-end technologies and platforms such as ReactJS, HTML, and CSS3
Understanding accessibility and security compliance
User authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments
Integration of multiple data sources and databases into one system
Management of hosting environment, including database administration and scaling an application to support load changes
Data migration, transformation, and scripting
Implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests
Good English skills, especially in communications and writing.
